Center for Embodiment

Overview

The Center for Embodiment is dedicated to helping individuals reconnect with their bodies through evidence-informed somatic practices that support nervous system regulation, emotional processing, and present-moment awareness. My role encompassed creating a cohesive visual identity, including logo, stationery, and merchandise designs, with the aim of communicating accessibility, safety, and calm. The project required scaling branded visuals consistently from studio signage to community event materials.

Challenges

Developing a visual identity that embodies accessibility, safety, and calmness, appealing to a wide audience across both therapeutic and daily-life contexts. Ensuring design consistency across varied formats: from studio signage to event merchandise. Communicating the integrative, mindful nature of embodiment practices through design.

Solution

Crafted a cohesive design system, starting from the logo and extending through all materials, using calm color palettes and accessible forms. Established scalable branding principles to maintain consistent communication and experience from studio environments to larger community events. Integrated motifs and elements that reflect present-moment awareness and somatic integration, reinforcing the center’s purpose at every touchpoint.
